How it works:
3 to 4 weeks out a letter is sent home announcing picture day/week and ask for parent volunteers to help with the children. Generally two parents are requested to be present to help organize the children.
One week out another letter is sent home to parents with information the set that you chose and clothing suggestions. Confirm parent helpers and their schedules.
Picture Day! We come in and set up. Then we brief the parents that are there to help. Then we start shooting!
1 week after Picture Day we deliver the proof envelops which are sent home with the children.
2 weeks after Picture Day we pick up the envelops with the payment.
3 weeks after Picture Day the picture are delivered.

Q. The other photographer said he can have them done faster, why do you take 3 weeks from picture day?
A. They are taking “your parents” money the day of the pictures and “your parents” are your customer as well as mine. I want them to be happy with the images that we provide and in return they are happy with your school. If they don't like the images then they don't have to purchase anything.
Q. Can the parents order online?
A. Yes, but you have to request that service prior to Picture Day. The hosting of photos online cost me per image, so I don’t want add an unnecessary expense.
Q. Do you pay a commission to the school for hiring you?
A. I do not pay the school a commission; I do give up to two teachers per class a 5x7 class photo. Most of the out of town companies will pay and they will under sell every local photographer just to push us out of the market. If you wish to use my product as a fund raiser, that can be worked out. I do well enough not to have to pay a commission.
Q. Many parents have two or more students enrolled in my school; can they be in the same picture?
A. Yes, we do this at no additional charge. We have five of our own and we realize pictures can get costly if you have several children.
Q. What are your prices?”
A. That is varies on your school size and set/backgroun. Small schools will be slightly more; in most cases a sheet will average $8. Our goal is to be paid for our time not steal you money.
Q. What is a sheet?
A. A sheet is whatever can fit on an 8x10 print. It must be the same image but can be 1-5x7, and 4-walletts, or 2-5x7’s. These will be listed on the price sheet for parents and that will be included in our quote.
