It's not the camera!
Many people will go out and spend a lot of money on camera equipment. It is not the equipment but the understanding of light and how it works with your equipment that makes a good technical photograph.
The photograph to the right was taken with a $300 camera. Well it was $300 10 years before this photo was taken. It is a 6 MP Pentax Optio from 2002. I like these water proof cameras for when I was deploying in the Army. Being waterproof made it easy to clean when it got dirty.
Seven years later this camera still makes a great image, I over exposed it by the maximum allowed on this camera +3.0. This allowed the detail in the shadows which allows us to see the reflections on the windows even being back lite.
